THE IMS LEARNING JOURNEY

 
One of the major problems that many development programs face is Ebbinghauses' dreaded 'forgetting curve.' The concept is that people attend a learning program with the greatest of intentions. They learn a lot of new approaches and tools to help solve problems and improve performance at the office. When they return to work, however, they have meetings, reports, budgets, and other responsibilities to attend to. Over time they begin to forget much of what they learned and how to apply it.

The IMS Learning Journey was designed to overcome this challenge by providing 30-days of learning and implementation support for all three-hour IMS programs. By using various techniques to reinforce what was learned during the IMS program there is a greater likelihood of the attendee remembering the concepts learned and applying them at work.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

 
All Institute for Management Studies programs provide Continuing Professional Education (CPE) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) credits. CPE is required for CPA's to maintain their professional competence. Your organization may also use CPE and SHRM credits for your professional development. All attendees receive an IMS Certificate of Achievement.
