DR. NEIL SICHERMAN

Dr. Neil Sicherman coaches executives and teams and designs, develops and delivers programs in coaching and executive development. His clients have included executives and managers from a variety of large and medium-sized organizations including the Johnson & Johnson, University of Pennsylvania Health System, Central Intelligence Agency, Imation, SAP America, IBM, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, AARP, Sanofi Aventis, Walt Disney Company, 3M, Viacom, Alcoa, MGM Studios, Medical University of South Carolina Health Center, AT&T, AgFirst Farm Credit, Sonoco Products, Georgia-Pacific and Weyerhaeuser among other firms. Dr. Sicherman was Associate Dean for Executive Programs at Villanova University and was responsible for creating and designing an innovative Executive MBA program. Prior to that, he was a finance professor at the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina and at the Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. During his tenure at the University of South Carolina, He earned numerous teaching awards and honors from students and colleagues, for undergraduate and graduate classes, lecture courses and case courses, utilizing both traditional and distance learning methodologies. As part of the university-sponsored Teaching Development Program at the University of South Carolina, he was one of six professors regularly asked to design and deliver programs on effective teaching to new graduate students and faculty. He has also taught International MBA students in Vienna and in The Netherlands. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Sicherman worked for Arthur Andersen & Co. Neil’s research is published in such journals as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Business, the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Financial Management, the Journal of Financial Research, the Review of Quantitative and Financial Analysis and Pacific-Basin Capital Markets. Neil received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 1986. He is also a graduate of the Newfield Network Coaching for Professional and Personal Mastery program; one of a limited number of programs accredited by the International Coach Federation and is a certified consultant for The Leadership Circle Profile and Culture Survey.
