DR. CANDY ALBERTSSON
DR. CANDY ALBERTSSON is Director of Albertsson Consulting Limited, a leadership development consultancy specializing in integrated leadership development solutions to build competitive advantage. Building on 14 years of strategic, design and operational leadership development experience, Albertsson offers clients a variety of solutions including: Building your Business Case for Leadership Development; competency development; 360-degree feedback and coaching; assessment centers to identify, develop and calibrate top talent; high potential and talent management programs; strategic succession management and survey processes. Formerly with BP and AT&T, Albertsson’s clients include Agilent Technologies, ABB, Baker Hughes Incorporated, Bradford & Bingley, Deutsche Lufthansa, European Aeronautical Defence and Space Company (EADS), Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) and many others. Albertsson is a frequent contributor to major European and American conferences and professional meetings, delivering more than 50 keynote addresses, presentations and workshops. Most recently, she delivered keynote addresses at the 4th Annual Leadership Development Conference in San Francisco and the 2nd Annual Coaching and Mentoring Conference in London, as well as participated in a leadership roundtable chaired by Warren Bennis in Washington, DC (published in the winter 2001 MIT Sloan Management Review). During her BP career, Albertsson led the development and delivery of an integrated set of leadership development processes that provided the cornerstone for the development of leaders who drove a record low share price of 92 pence in 1992 to over 600 pence today. The BP leadership development story has been recognized as world class. In 1999, Warren Bennis and Linkage invited Dr Albertsson to contribute a chapter on the BP story to their book Best Practices in Leadership Development. Albertsson received her BA in Psychology from Mount Union College and her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The University of Akron.
