Overview
Managers who want to succeed in the rapidly changing and unpredictable environments facing most organizations today need to develop their own and their people's capacity to be nimble, fast and flexible-while they continue to deliver results. This seminar will introduce you to the nature of a boundaryless organization; give you the opportunity to diagnose the degree of permeability in your own organization's boundaries; and help you identify possible rapid results initiatives that can make your organization more effective.
Managers who want to succeed in the rapidly changing and unpredictable environments facing most organizations today need to develop their own and their people's capacity to be nimble, fast and flexible-while they continue to deliver results. Doing this requires breaking down four types of boundaries: Vertical boundaries between hierarchical levels of the organization; horizontal boundaries between functions; external boundaries with customers and suppliers; and geographic boundaries between units in different locations. It also requires learning how to shape and sponsor a portfolio of 100-day "rapid results" initiatives that generate measurable results while building the capacity and confidence to continue to change. This seminar will introduce you to the nature of a boundaryless organization; give you the opportunity to diagnose the degree of permeability in your own organization's boundaries; and help you identify possible rapid results initiatives that can make your organization-and you-more effective.
