Session Description
Leadership presence, frequently called the “wow factor," is a blending of personal and interpersonal skills that when combined, send all the right signals. It’s knowing the elements that go into making a great first impression. It’s projecting confidence and poise under pressure. It’s giving formal presentations that position you as decisive, assertive, and succinct. It’s engaging others in ways that are authentic, empathetic and motivational. It’s adapting your approach to adjust for personality style, culture and gender. It’s optimizing the impact of nonverbal behavior to send signals that make others evaluate you as a leader and that help you read an audience or situation so you can adjust accordingly. It`s networking and self-promotion without being perceived as pushy or arrogant. And it all can be learned. Backed by neuroscience and based on research from Harvard, Stanford, UCLA, MIT Media Lab, and Columbia School of Business, this interactive session gives participants tools and strategies they can put into action immediately.
 
Biography

Carol Kinsey Goman, Ph.D., is an international keynote speaker and leadership presence coach.
